Cinnamon

Cinnamon for candida albicans & inflammation – easy in coffee or tea.

Cinnamon has long been held to have antifungal properties. Modern research has specifically targeted substances called cinnamaldehyde of the tree bark.  In addition, this wonderful spice has anti-inflammatory properties.  We often think of needing inflammation herbs for a headache or sore muscle. However, with candida albicans both the pathogen itself and some of the remedies invariable can cause an inflammatory response throughout the digestive tract. This in turn leads to bloating and constipation. Yet the best attribute is flavor and if you can’t put some of this in your morning coffee or tea you are not even trying.

Garlic

Cinnammon for candida albicans, inflammation, and flavor.

Garlic – the legendary herb.   What isn’t garlic good for? Louis Pasteur surmised that garlic inhibited the contraction of anthrax by testing chickens of the same clutch. More importantly to our reader is that it contains both allicin and alinase. When these simple compound and enzyme combine they form ajoene, a powerful organosulfur effective on many fungal infections. In addition, it is believed to not only inhibit growth of candida albicans but also disrupt the biofilm. Not to mention it reduces blood pressure, improves cholesterol levels, zaps free radicals with antioxidants, and detoxifies heavy metals for no additional costs or hidden fees.
