Antifungal Soap

Antifungal soap for clean, smooth, yeast free skin.

Anti-fungal soap is an important arrow in the anti-candida quiver.  Yeast, fungus, and mold weaken the immune system.  Thus suffers of candida can develop secondary topical infection like athletes foot, jock itch and ringworm. Both medicated formulations can be used when a rash or other topical symptoms exist .  Use herbal formulas also for more preventative measures.  Some can be harsher than normal soap so should be cycled in to your antifungal regimen.  Some herbs traditionally used in antifungal body care are the essential oils of tea tree, eucalyptus, noni, and coconut.

Herbal mouthwash is great for those with candida albicans or other fungus. To begin with it lacks alcohol.  In the short-term alcohol kills microbes. But with long-term microbes become resistant and persistent dry mouth then ultimately halitosis develop.   The odor of bad bread may be due to to bacteria and biofilms formation. Alcohol is a feedstock for yeast growth and thus a big mistake for anyone with candida albicans. In addition, herbal mouthwash generally have no unknown chemical agents of which the common consumer has never heard. Conventional mouthwash often contain triclosan and sodium lauryl sulfate which are know to be harsh on oral membranes. Thrush

Medicated Topical Antifungals

Medicated antifungals for that burning itch where the sun doesn’t shine.

Topical medications for fungus are something candida albicans sufferers typically keep on the shelf.  It is not uncommon to develop a case of athlete’s foot, jock itch, or even ringworm if you are not vigilant. The immune system is suppressed with candida overgrowth and one is particularly susceptible to other fungal pathogens.  So occasionally use antifungal soaps and lotion as a preventative measure. Have a medicated option on the shelf for when you least expect it.  And it is handy to have while traveling.  Trips to Europe and hiking in the great outdoors are known causes of jock itch so be ready!

Oils, lotions, and balms are a way to round out your antifungal hygiene regimen. While antifungal soap is a great benefit, it is not on your skin for that long.  You obviously apply oils, lotions, and balms after you bathe and leave it on to moisturize and repair your skin. This naturally means any herbal antifungals will be on your skin longer.  This makes them a formidable prevention measure. If you are already exhibiting a rash you should consider a stronger medicated solution.
